The Purdue MARS Lab delivered a tailored robotics lab tour and hands-on demo for students from the the IoT4Ag AgBridge 2026 NSF ERC program. Our team showcased robotic systems, robot learning research, and hands-on prototyping efforts.

[June 2024] Mandela Washington Fellowship
Dr. She presented about autonomy and robotics to young African leaders with the Mandela Washington Fellowship. This is the flagship program of the U.S. government’s Young African Leadership ( YALI), and has brought nearly 6500 young leaders from Sub-Saharan Africa to U.S. for academic and leadership training.

[May 2024] Blue Sky Summer Scholars Program
Purdue MARS lab collaborated with Blue Sky Summer Scholars program and offered an interactive lab tour session for Ivy Tech Community College students. Students enjoyed playing with the ALOHA (a low-cost and whole-body teleoperation system) and high-resolution vision based tactile sensors.
[April 2024] Robotics Hands-on Practice
Purdue MARS lab delivered a tailored robotics lab tour for high school students from Southport High School, 971 E Banta Rd, Indianapolis, IN 46227 (~40 students). Students had the opportunity to interact with robots in the MARS Lab and learn about ongoing robotics and embodied AI research at Purdue.
